A three-car crash caused long delays on the A260 this morning.
The accident was near Barham Services between Church Lane and Adisham Road, at around 8.14am.
It left the A260 Canterbury Road, which runs parallel to the A2, blocked in both directions.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene.
Two people were taken to the William Harvey Hospital with neck pain and breathing difficulties.
A SECAmb spokesman said: "We were called at 8.10am to reports of a road traffic collision involving three cars.
"Two ambulance crews attended the scene and treated two patients."
The vehicles have now been removed and the road has been reopened.
