Three car crash on Canterbury Road, Herne Bay, causes delays

A three-car pile up caused delays in Herne Bay on Thursday.
Police were called to Canterbury Road at 4.20pm after the multi-vehicle crash.

A silver BMW, a silver Mazda and a red Renault had collided.
A number of people in the cars suffered minor injuries.
The road was temporarily closed while police removed the damaged vehicles and the occupants were treated by ambulance staff.

Three people were taken to hospital as a precaution.
The road was reopened at 5.20pm.
