Canterbury: A28 shut in Upstreet at junction with Grove Ferry Road after three-vehicle crash

A three-vehicle crash shut the A28 in both directions outside Canterbury.
Emergency services were called to Upstreet at the junction with Grove Ferry Road.
It happened at around 3.10pm and the road was closed due to debris.
A KCC Highways official said: "Emergency services are at the scene and road is still currently closed while the police await recovery services.
"A KCC representative is assisting with the clearing of debris.
"Please use alternate route where possible, delays in the area are expected."
Highways officials confirmed the road reopened at 5pm.
