Kent Fire and Rescue Service cut man free from vehicle in Blean

Firefighters had to cut a man free from this vehicle following a crash this morning.

The accident happened at the A290, Whitstable Road in Blean, between Canterbury and Whitstable.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called at 5.45am and crews had to use hydraulic cutting equipment to release the trapped driver.

It was reported the car had collided with a lamppost.

The 20-year-old man suffered a minor head injury and has been taken to hospital by ambulance crews.
