Comedian Paddy McGuinness made a surprise visit to The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury on Sunday.
Cinderella was chosen as one of the country’s top five pantomimes to feature in the ITV fundraising show Text Santa.
On the Christmas Eve finale viewers will see Paddy appear on the Marlowe stage and take a jacket from Stephen Mulhern (Buttons).
Paddy has collected an item of clothing from panto performers around the country, including Dame Edna Everage and David Hasselhoff.
Cinderella producer Paul Hendy said: “We were really pleased to be chosen and there was a genuine buzz among the cast and the audience when Paddy appeared.”
