Car fires in Island Road, Hersden, near Canterbury

Firefighters were called to a yard in Canterbury where two cars were alight.
The blaze happened in Island Road, Hersden and two crews were sent shortly before 9pm yesterday.
They put the fire out using a jet, with water collected from a nearby hydrant, and wore breathing apparatus to get close to the fire.
The cause is not yet known.
Crews had left the scene by 9.30pm.
