Two charged after burglary in Longport, Canterbury

Two men have been charged after a house was burgled in Canterbury.
On the night of Wednesday, August 2, cash was taken from a house in Longport between 11.20pm and 12.55am.
Garry Stow, 48, of no fixed address, was arrested in Military Road on Wednesday, August 16, and charged with burglary.
A CCTV appeal was subsequently issued in order to locate a man who police believed could help them with their enquiries.
Following that appeal John Shipman, 46, of Craddock Road, Canterbury, was arrested on Wednesday this week and also charged with burglary.
They have both been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Friday, September 15.
