Two people taken to hospital after crash on A28 in Chartham

Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash on a major route.
The collision happened on the A28 in Chartham, near the turning for Shalmsford Street, at about 9.40am.
Emergency services were called, and traffic information site Inrix reported queues in the area.
A police spokesman said: “We were called to a two-car collision on the A28 near Chartham at 9.40am
“Officers attended along with the ambulance service and two people were taken to hospital.”
