Two women cut free after van hits tree in Whitstable

A white Ford Transit van came off a road and hit a tree in Whitstable at just after midnight.
Firefighters using rescue equipment cut two female passengers out of the van in Church Street at 12.45am.
The man driving the van had already managed to get out.
Three of the occupants were treated by ambulance and taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The road was closed until 1.20am.
