Van driver from Whitstable area dies in crash

A 31-year-old man from the Whitstable area was killed in a serious road accident in Charing on Friday evening.
It happened around 7.25pm on Faversham Road when it's believed he lost control of a white VW Transporter van on a bend and overturned. The van hit two other vehicles, a black Jaguar XF-R and a black Citroen Picasso.
The man, whose name has not been released, died at the scene. No one else was injured.
The road was closed to allow emergency services to deal with the accident and it was fully re-opened at 3.20am on Saturday.
Officers from the police’s serious collision investigation unit are investigating the collision and would like to hear from anyone who saw it or who has any information which could help their investigation.
