Bexley extended their advantage at the top of the Premier Division with an eight-wicket victory over HSBC on Saturday.

Invited to bat, HSBC endured a costly middle order collapse as they were limited to just 110 all out after 41.3 overs.

The league leaders lost two wickets in reply to reach 114-2 in less than 24 overs.

After losing opener Sadiq Hassan for just two, HSBC's best response came through Richard Golbourn (21) and Wajid Shah (33).

Alexander Hill then picked up 3-15 for Bexley. Matt Rhodes contributed 20 at No.8 before being dismissed by Jason Benn (2-23), while Adam Riley finished 2-11.

Bexley opener Calum Basey was gone for six off the bowling of Ishmail September. Matt Cross struck 40 before being bowled by Andrew Faulkner, with Matthew Stiddard (33 not out) and Calum MacLeod (26 not out) finishing the job.

Sevenoaks beat Bickley Park by four runs to move one point behind fourth-placed Tunbridge Wells.

Having been sent in to bat, Sevenoaks finished on 152-9 after an unbeaten 49 from No.8 Miles Richardson.

Openers John Bowden and Christopher Vernon were both bowled by Xavier Darroch to leave Sevenoaks on 19-2.

Michael Barber added 15 while skipper Luke Schlemmer made 32 until they were both bowled by Arafat Bhuiyan, who finished with 5-25.

Adam Rouse and James Carslaw both went cheaply as Sevenoaks were restricted to 159.

Alex Moen (17) and Alex Fullarton (37) put on 52 in reply for Bickley, before the former was caught by Andrew Reid-Dick off the bowling of Karl Pearson.

Alex Darroch went for 10 after being caught by Rouse off Reid-Dick, with Warren Lee hitting 29 until he was dismissed by Schlemmer (4-35) courtesy of a catch from Richardson.

Michael Ridley made 20 but Bickley eventually fell short on 148 all out, Arafat Bhuiyan the last to go when was caught by Ben Price off Schlemmer's bowling for nought.

Sandwich won by 84 runs at home to second-placed Lordswood.

The hosts found themselves 0-2 after the departure of Zack Fagg to a catch from Hugh Scott off the bowling of James Murphy, and Finley Beaman lbw to Chris Piesley (4-40).

It was 11-3 shortly after when Tom Chapman was trapped leg before by Piesley, before Kent's Jordan Cox halted his side's early collapse with 42.

Cameron Fletcher made an unbeaten 70, receiving support along the way from Alex Smith (27), Rory Smith (23) and Jan Gray (10), as Sandwich finished on 190-7.

Lordswood slipped to 11-2 in response after losing Edward Taylor - bowled by Ben Mills for four - and Michael French, trapped lbw by Craig Spanton for one.

Jack Laraman was the next to leave, bowled for 20 by Smith, before Brandon Conradie and Shaun Piesley both departed.

Linden Lockhart top scored on 35 as Lordswood were bowled out for just 106, with Gray finishing with 3-26.

Canterbury dropped into the bottom two after losing by seven wickets against Blackheath.

Electing to bat, Isaac Dilkes (40) and Bradley Goldsack (35) reached 70 between them before the former was bowled by Mehdi Abbas.

Stuart Drakeley was caught for three by Tanweer Sikandar off the bowling of Dipayan Paul, followed by Joe Gordon who fell lbw to Mohammad Ashraful (3-31) for three.

Elliott Lewis managed 22 before also being caught out lbw by Ashraful, with Thando Ntini (29 not out) and Oliver Hills (22 not out) taking Canterbury to a score of 172-7.

Blackheath were 4-1 early on in their chase following the exit of George Wells via a catch from Ben Cooper off the bowling of Drakeley.

Paul (57) and Tanweer Sikandar (32) then put on 89 between them until the latter was caught by Dilkes off Ntini.

Paul was bowled by Drakeley, leaving Ashraful (55 not out) and Charlie-Sid Speller (15 not out) to reach a winning total of 175-3 in 41.5 overs.

Canterbury now sit on 51 points in second bottom and four adrift of Blackheath.
