Beckenham strengthened their spot at the top of the Premier Division with a one-wicket win over Canterbury.

Having deferred with the bat, Beckenham restricted the hosts to 199 all out following figures of 4-38 from William MacVicar.

Rithik Hari and Stuart Binny then scored half-centuries as the away side recovered from a poor start to their reply to reach 200-9 with three balls to spare.

Canterbury found themselves 0-1 when Justin MacVicar was bowled first ball by MacVicar, who claimed the wicket of Bradley Goldsack for 12 shortly after.

Ben Rutherford, who saw Isaac Rahman trapped lbw by MacVicar, attempted to repair his side's innings with 40 before he was run out by Beckenham skipper Alex Senn.

Isaac Dilkes offered 36, while there were useful knocks of 30 from Sam Burt and 33 from Elliot Lewis.

The latter was the last to fall after MacVicar had beaten Jemuel Cabey lbw as Canterbury closed on 199 all out.

Beckenham were 3-2 in reply having lost both openers Senn and Finnan Bryan for ducks to Cabey.

MacVicar responded with 32 from 30 until he was caught by Burt off Lewis.

Hari and Binny then produced a defining partnership worth 107 as the visitors succeeded in reaching 200-9 despite a fine bowling display that saw MacVicar, Cabey, Lewis and Dilkes all pick up two wickets apiece.

Bickley Park won by 25 runs in their meeting with Lordswood after a key knock from wicketkeeper Safwaan Imitiaz.

Electing to bat, Bickley slipped to 21-3 after two wickets from Chris Piesley, including that of opener Warren Lee for a duck.

In came Imitiaz to steady the innings, although he soon saw both Alex Moen and Adeel Malik bowled by Taylor Chandler for 16 runs between them.

Imitiaz eventually rallied to an unbeaten 81 from 107 deliveries as Bickley finished all out for 157, with Chandler and Jack Laraman having taken three wickets each.

Lordswood didn't start much better with the bat, falling to 23-2 after seeing Linden Lockhart bowled by Lee for no score.

Sean Dickson could only manage 15 from 45 before he was caught by Lee off Adeel Malik, who went on to take a five-fer in the match.

Tail-enders Paul Richards (19 not out) and Hugh Scott (20) tried to frustrate their opponents, but Malik's 5-33 would prove decisive as Lordswood fell short on 132 all out.

At the bottom of the table, Blackheath beat HSBC by 135 runs in their bid to avoid relegation.

Invited to bat, Blackheath were led out by a 41-run partnership between Rishi Roy-Mukherjee (17) and George Wells (42) until the former was run out by Sadiq Hassan.

This was followed by the cheap dismissal of Tanweer Sikandar, before Wells was run out by Alan Slater to depart with his team on 93.

Then came a 77-run partnership between Mohammad Ashraful (58) and Charlie-Sid Speller (31), the latter of whom was first to go when he was bowled by Slater (4-30).

Ashraful was caught Bilal Awan off Hasan, but saw his side reach 216-9 after 45 overs thanks to a welcomed 33 in extras.

HSBC's reply never got going and they were 22-2 following the wickets of openers Sam Perks and Richard Golbourn.

George Hutton watched five more wickets fall as he tried to mount some kind of chase with 22 from 62 deliveries, only to be bowled by Roy-Mukherjee.

Dipayan Paul eventually racked up figures of 6-23 alongside Roy-Mukherjee's 3-4 to bowl HSBC out for just 81.

Elsewhere Sandwich won by 44-runs as they hosted Bexley at The Butts.

Their decision to bat was met by little reward early on when Zack Fagg went for a duck and both Ben Smith and Rory Smith were dismissed by Adam Ball for seven each.

Cameron Fletcher was his side's top performer at the crease with a patient 38 from 83 deliveries, followed by Alex Smith's 28.

Sandwich closed on 161 all out after Ball's two wickets had been added to by two each for Adam Riley, Freddie Foster and Harry Furze.

Bexley endured a similarly tough start with the bat, losing both Matt Cross and Shaun Evans for three apiece and seeing Matthew Stiddard bowled by Craig Spanton for 13.

Calum Basey top scored on 28 until he fell to Jan Gray (3-14) as one of four catches made by Fagg on the day.

George Haley went in matching fashion for 27 as Bexley finished all out on 117, with Ashleigh Cox having claimed 3-27 and Matt Van Poppel chipping in with 2-9.

Tunbridge Wells recorded a 95-run victory at home to Sevenoaks Vine in a game reduced to 36 overs.

Put in to bat by the visitors, Tunbridge were boosted by a 102-run partnership between Christopher Williams (62) and Sam Stickler (37), both of whom were eventually dismissed by Andrew Reid-Dick.

Alexander Williams added another 51 from 48 deliveries alongside an unbeaten 38 from Julian O'Riordan as Tunbridge posted 235-5.

Vine opened with 35 in reply from Evert Bekker, who was caught by Williams as one of three wickets for Matthew Barker.

Adam Rouse top scored with 42 among eight single-digit contributions, while Isaac Bepey worked towards figures of 3-23.

The Kent man was finally caught by Stickler off Mark Mclean as Vine were bowled out for 140.
