Reading 3 Canterbury 2
CANTERBURY remain bottom of the Premier Division of the Slazenger England Hockey League after going down to a last minute goal at Reading on Saturday.
The visitors responded well to being a goal down at half-time as two quickfire goals from Greg Nicol and Jess Dowsing put them ahead.
However, Richard Mantell broke Canterbury hearts with two penalty corners, first to equalise on the hour and then snatch all three points in the dying seconds.
