KENT'S county netball players are preparing for the first match in the England Counties League season which starts on Saturday.

The county side was relegated from Division 1 last season and have everything to play for as they start this season in Division 2 facing opposition from Birmingham, at home in Canterbury.

The match starts at 12.30pm at the University of Kent at Canterbury's indoor sports hall and there is limited space for spectators – particularly school students who would like to watch netball played at a county standard.
