Kent assistant coach Matt Walker believes his players are ready for success in the NatWest T20 Blast

Kent Spitfires assistant coach Matt Walker can see the desire in his players’ eyes and their hunger for success out in the field.
Five consecutive victories in the NatWest T20 Blast South Group is proof of that.
Spitfires head into Friday night’s clash against Glamorgan at Tunbridge Wells riding a crest of a wave that Walker hopes won’t recede any time soon.
He said: “To win five games in a row is a fantastic achievement in anyone’s book and we’ve played some exceptional cricket to do it.
“There is so much belief in this squad and the beauty is that the key performances contributing to the success are coming from all angles whether it be with bat, ball or in the field.
“It’s not that we are relying on any one individual to get the job done – everyone is contributing.
“Sure, we’ve had brilliant individual performances from Daniel (Bell-Drummond), Stevo (Darren Stevens), Sam (Northeast) and Blakey (Alex Blake) but it’s the unit as a whole which is proving it can match it with anyone.
“Anything is possible from anyone in our side – if someone doesn’t come off, someone else steps up to the plate. We’ve got match-winners throughout.”
