While most of us were trying to adjust to a different type of Christmas Day, midwives at Darent Valley Hospital worked tirelessly to deliver bundles of joy to proud parents.
Christmas Day saw the arrival of eight babies at the Dartford hospital – four girls and four boys.
Baby Cara, pictured with mum Kerry Ann and partner Alfie from Swanley, was the first baby born on December 25, at two minutes after midnight, weighing in at 3546g (7lb 8oz).
The hospital released the photo today.
A spokesman said: "Congratulations to all the new parents and thank you to our wonderful staff who work over the festive season."
