Busy roundabout overnight closures, restricting people getting onto and off the A282 Dartford Crossing

00:00, 08 August 2016

Access to the M25 at the Dartford crossing will be restricted tonight, for a week.

Drivers are being advised that the A282 junction 1b roundabout (Princes Road Interchange) will be closed overnight from today (Monday) for five nights for resurfacing work.

The works, including repainting the lines on the roundabout, will take place overnight between 10pm and 5.30am.

On Friday work will take place between 11pm and 6am.

While work is taking place, the roundabout and all approaching roads and slip roads will be closed.

Highways England said clearly signed diversions will be in place.

Access to Princes Road and Oakwood Close will be maintained for residents only.

Access to the Fleet Estate will be via Gore Road and Lunedale Road, and not via Princes Road.

The Arriva Fastrack bus will be using an alternative route while the work takes place overnight and will not be serving the Fleet Estate.
