Fire crews called to Amazon van fire in Redhill Road, New Ash Green

Plumes of black smoke could be seen billowing across a street when a van went up in flames.
One fire engine was called to Redhill Road, in New Ash Green, just after 11.30am today (November 25) to a report that the vehicle was on fire.
Crews attended and put it out.
Pictures show the vehicle, an Amazon delivery van, ablaze with the front engulfed in flames.
Black plumes of smoke could be seen billowing from the van as the driver watched.
There were no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.
Firefighters had left by 12.15pm.
An Amazon spokesperson said: “The driver is safe and we’re investigating this with our delivery service provider.”
