Rabbits, reptiles, tortoises and mice in animal therapy session at Shakti Lodge, Princes Road, Dartford

Rabbits, reptiles, tortoises and mice were guests for the afternoon at a care home.

The critters were brought along to Shakti Lodge in Princes Road, Dartford, as part of an animal therapy session, allowing residents to get up close and personal with some new friends.

Clients from Peppercorns community centre in Hythe Street were also invited along.

Home manager Jo Kula, who encouraged clients to meet their new furry and scaly friends, said: “The event was successful and everyone enjoyed it.”
