The sky was the limit for BBC1’s The Apprentice candidate, Alex Finn who pitched his company, SkyFade Drones to more than 70 businesses at the latest Dartford FC Business Club networking event.
The event was held at Princes Park and saw 21-year-old Alex, talk about the success of his firm.
Specialising in professional drone and filming, SkyFade Drones was the idea of the former IT analyst and company director, who is the grandson of Frank Finn who founded the Finn Chocolate Coater, a machine mould that coats chocolate bars and biscuits.
After the event, Alex who lives in The Wirral said: "It went really well.
"It’s great to meet so many diverse businesses and it is everything I imagined plus more.
"I think their events are absolutely crucial, without these there are so many opportunities which would never happen.”
At 21, Alex is the youngest hopeful dancing to the March of the Knights on new series of The Apprentice, which started last month.
SkyFade was one of six businesses who gave a five-minute presentation at the networking event.
The other companies who gave presentations were Centre Circle which provide trained stewards and SIA security to events and public gatherings, London Coaching Services which remove barriers to business growth, improving the values of companies and chartered town planner and urban designer, CB Wright & Associates Ltd.
Others include Kent Traffic Law who offer legal advice and support, specialising in saving driving licenses and ellenor who offer care and support for families facing terminal illness.
More than 100 businesses are members of the Dartford FC Business Club which offers a monthly business networking event 11 months of the year.
Member organisations also regularly offer special discounts to fellow business club members.
The Apprentice is aired at 9pm on Wednesdays.
