Bexleyheath man arrested after pedestrian hit by car on Crossways Boulevard, Greenhithe

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car on a busy dual carriageway.
Emergency services were scrambled to the scene in Crossways Boulevard, Greenhithe last night.
Police confirmed they attended reports of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian at 8.23pm near the Asda supermarket.
A man sustained serious injuries and was taken to a London hospital.
The driver, a 36-year-old man from Bexleyheath, was arrested in connection with the collision and currently remains in custody.
Residents also reported online seeing a helicopter landing in nearby Worcester Park.
