Swanley man arrested following suspected hit-and-run in Lower Road, near Goss Hill

An arrest has been made after a motorcyclist was left with serious injuries following a suspected hit-and-run.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital following the crash in Swanley.
His bike collided with a car, which then failed to stop and drove away from the crash scene.
The incident happened between 5.30am and 5.55am yesterday in Lower Road, close to the junction for Goss Hill.
Officers attended along with ambulance and fire crews.
A motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to a London hospital with multiple injuries.
The vehicle, believed to be a black Vauxhall Astra or Zafira, was being driven from the direction of Hextable and would have sustained significant front end damage.
A 46-year-old man from Swanley was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving and for failing to stop after a road traffic collision. He was later released pending further inquiries.
