Arrest made after jewellery taken by force from pensioner in London Road, Swanley

A woman has been arrested after a pensioner had her gold chain forcibly taken from her.
The victim, a woman in her 70s, was outside a property near London Road in Swanley when she was approached at around 1.30pm on Tuesday (April 2).
A woman approached her and forcibly took the chain she was wearing.
It is alleged the pair had met earlier in the day when the thief approached the victim outside a supermarket in Orpington, asking for signatures for a charity.
A 30-year-old woman from Edmonton, Greater London, was arrested by officers shortly after the incident on suspicion of robbery and taken into custody.
