Swanley man arrested in connection with sexual assault at nature reserve near Longfield railway station

A man from Swanley has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault which took place in a nature reserve.
The suspect was detained after a woman was assaulted while walking on a footpath near Longfield railway station.
She was passing through Rectory Meadow, near Bramblefield Close when she was approached by a stranger and touched inappropriately.
The incident is alleged to have taken place between 6.30pm and 7pm on Tuesday.
A 47-year-old man from the Swanley area was arrested yesterday on suspicion of sexual assault and taken in custody.
Meanwhile, officers are continuing to appeal to witnesses who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area.
Residents living nearby with doorbell cameras and other home security systems, as well as motorists with dashcam, are also urged to check for any footage which may assist the investigation.
