Teenagers arrested after fatal crash on M25 near Lakeside, Essex

A duo have been arrested in connection with the death of a motorcyclist after police pursued a driver on a motorway.
Kent Police officers chased the vehicle over the Dartford Crossing on the M25 anti-clockwise carriageway at around 11.40pm yesterday (April 14).
The driver was pursued to the exit of junction 30 near Lakeside in Grays, Essex, when it became involved in a crash.
Paramedics were called to the scene with Essex police where they found an injured motorcyclist.
The rider was pronounced dead shortly after.
Part of the roundabout was closed for around 10 hours before it reopened at around 10.30am today (April 15).
A pair of teenagers, both 18, and from Essex, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving at the scene. They have been released on bail until July 8.
A mandatory referral has now been made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct following the incident to investigate the circumstances surrounding the chase.
Police are now asking for dashcam footage from the incident or information.
