Swanley Asda applies to Sevenoaks District Council to amend alcohol sales time

An Asda store has applied to amend its alcohol sales time at one store so click and collect services can operate earlier.

Asda, in Swanley, has applied to Sevenoaks council to change the start time for alcohol sales on a Sunday to 7am.

This means the superstore will be able to operate click and collect and home delivery services from the same time.

On Tuesday, February, 2, Asda applied for the changes, which doesn't affect the opening hours of the store.

Any representations regarding this application must be received in writing by the Licensing Authority, Sevenoaks District Council/Licensing Partnership, PO Box 182, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN13 1GP.

You can also email licensing@sevenoaks.gov.uk or visit http://pa.sevenoaks.gov.uk/online-licensing no later than Tuesday, March 2, stating the grounds for representations.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application.

The fine for each person liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
