A disqualified driver has been jailed after admitting a string of offences after a car failed to stop for police.
Patrol officers say they spotted a Vauxhall Vectra in Bartholomew Way, Swanley on Tuesday which they thought was suspicious, so they tried to pull it over.
However, the driver, William Lee carried on driving to Homefield Close, where he then got out of the car and left the area.
William Lee, 41, of Alexandra Close, Swanley was later arrested and charged with disqualified driving, failing to stop for police, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
He appeared before magistrates in Medway via video link yesterday and admitted most of the charges.
The bench were told Lee got behind the wheel of the vehicle despite already being banned and did fail to stop when officers has requested him to do so.
Magistrates jailed Lee for 120 days for the driving while disqualified offence and he was banned from the road again for a further 16 months.
Lee received no separate penalties for the failing to stop and the driving without insurance offences.
The driving without a licence offence was withdrawn by prosecutors.
