Boxing promoter Mick Hennessy aims to return to Bluewater with an even bigger and better show next time.
Close to 3,000 people watched from the Glow venue on Saturday night as James DeGale made a successful defence of his European super middleweight crown.
Hennessy Sports promoted the boxing show, believed to have been Kent’s biggest, with the main event going out live on Channel 5.
Former Olympic champion DeGale only recently signed with Hennessy, meaning they had just three weeks to organise the event.
"We’ll definitely be back and I loved promoting there," said Hennessy.
"Considering we only had three weeks’ notice, it was a hell of a success and we’re looking forward to doing it again with time to prepare.
"We could promote there on a regular basis. In and around the London area there are leisure centres who can hold around 1,000 spectators and after that it’s Wembley with 10,000, so Bluewater with 5,000 would be a good option.
"Ideally we would like six weeks to prepare and nicer between eight to 10. I was thinking about pencilling in February and we’ll have to speak with Bluewater."
