A boy has been arrested after a cannabis factory was found in a Greenhithe flat.
Yesterday, officers attended the property in Liverymen Walk at around 10am and seized 150 plants.
Police said the 17-year-old has since been charged with being concerned in the production of cannabis and is due to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court today.
A neighbour said a strong smell had been coming from the area for the past weeks.
They said: "For the past six to eight weeks a strong smell has been coming from the apartment building and could be smelt up to 30 metres away.
"I also saw all the windows blocked out with boards."
