A man who 'gatecrashed' a Kent race track has had his bail extended.

Jack Cottle, 21, was arrested after allegedly bypassing security to get on to the track during a four-hour Beetle race back in June.

Cottle, of Tonbridge, claims he has had death threats after footage was posted on YouTube and Facebook showed the car entering the circuit.

The former Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit hosted a Volkswagen Fun Cup race when it is reported the man drove the car onto the track.

Event organisers have confirmed an inquiry has been set up by police and track officials to discover how the driver got onto the course.
