An earlier broken-down lorry has sparked long delays on the Dartford Crossing.
Drivers heading into Kent from Essex are stuck in queues on the clockwise carriageway of the M25 between junction 31 for Lakeside and J1A for Dartford.
Motorists were temporarily stopped on the bridge while National Highways’ officers cleared the broken-down HGV.
By 10.15am, traffic was released and all lanes were reopened.
However, long delays on the clockwise carriageway remain, with queues stretching back to Junction 29.
There are currently delays of around 50 minutes against expected traffic.
