Burglary suspect charged after man spotted acting suspiciously in Coopers Close, near Stone Crossing, Greenhithe

A man has been charged on suspicion of burglary after several neighbours reported suspected break-ins at their homes.
Police were called to Coopers Close near Stone Crossing, Greenhithe in the early hours of Tuesday morning after a man was spotted acting suspiciously.
Several of the callers believed the man was attempting to gain entry to their properties.
Officers attended and carried out a search of the area and a man was found nearby and was arrested at around 1.15am.
Maxwell Linnett, 21, of Rayleigh Close, Erith, South-East London, has been charged with burglary and four counts of fraud.
He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court yesterday where he was bailed to attend Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday October 5.
