A motorist's car overturned after they drove around a roundabout the wrong way in a bid to avoid delays at the Dartford Crossing.
It caused the driver of an oncoming car to crash at around 5pm yesterday on University Way, Dartford.
Traffic had built up due to 12-mile queues on the M25 following a diesel spillage, which caused hold-ups in the surrounding area.
Responding to a tweet from Kent's Road Policing Unit, commenters urged officers to "throw the book at the driver" or "take away their licence".
Another added, "I can testify that Dartford has the worst drivers in the UK".
Kent Police spokesman Martin Very said: "Police were called at around 4.50pm yesterday regarding a collision on University Way, Dartford.
"Officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where one of the vehicles had rolled onto its roof.
"No injuries were reported."
