A passer-by was allegedly attacked and threatened in an alleyway while trying to help a woman.

The victim told police officers he saw an altercation involving two people along the path, near West View Road, in Swanley.

However, when he tried to intervene, he said was assaulted and threatened by the pair.

The incident happened at around 3.50pm on Friday, July 12.

An image has now been released of a man officers think may be able to help them with their inquiries into the incident.
