Child taken to hospital after being hit by car in Oakfield Lane, Dartford

A child has been taking to hospital after being hit by a car this morning.
The ambulance service was called to Oakfield Lane, Dartford, near the Wilmington Grammar schools and North Kent College at around 8.30am.
The person involved was left with "potentially serious injuries."
Spokesman Rich Airey said: "We were called shortly before 8.30am today to reports of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle.
"Ambulance crews attended the scene and the patient was assessed and treated for a head injury before being taken to Kings College Hospital."
Police spokesman Vicki Foster added: "Police were called to a report of a collision involving a young pedestrian and a car in Oakfield Lane, Wilmington.
"Officers attended along with Secamb and the pedestrian was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries not believed to be life threatening. No arrests were made."
