A fundraising car wash raised more than £400 for NHS staff battling Covid-19.
Eddie Armstrong from EDS Car Valet and Detailing Service in Northfleet and Paul Barlow of Autosmart, organised a car wash day at Darent Valley Hospital, so when hospital staff returned from their shift they would have a clean car to welcome them.
Between 8am and 4pm, a team of seven – Eddie, Paul, Aston Davey, Adam and Charlie Armstrong, David Blaber and Richard Harfield – washed more than 200 cars to raise money for the NHS.
The group all wanted to give something back to the NHS frontline workers and say thank you for not only what they are doing during this pandemic, but also for what they do to support us all every day.
Eddie and Paul have set a target of £1,000 and have raised £420 so far, with hope that further contributions will come in.
