A collision blocked one of the tunnels at the Dartford Crossing for a second day in a row.
The east tunnel on the A282 northbound was shut for about half an hour and traffic was being diverted through the west side, causing tailbacks of four miles.
Drivers were left in a similar position yesterday after two collisions shut both sides of the tunnel.
Traffic is queuing back to J2 of the M25, known as the Darenth Interchange.
All lanes have reopened but travel time is still about 30 minutes.
