Fly-tippers and litterers have been fined more than £10,000 in a mammoth crackdown by Dartford council.
The prosecutions took place on Monday, November 26, as 30 litter cases were summoned to appear before Medway Magistrates' Court.
Council leader Jeremy Kite (Con) has said the legal action proves its dedication to keeping the town's streets clean.
One offender was fined a whopping £745 by the court for failing to pay a £75 litter ticket.
In 21 other cases, those found guilty of failing to pay a £75 Fixed Penalty Notice were fined £455 each, totalling £9,555.
Cllr Jeremy Kite said: "These fines prove that the council will take positive action that will lead to prosecution in order to keep Dartford’s streets clean.
"We’re heavily targeting the small number of people who are willing to step outside the bounds of normal civic behaviour, as nobody wants to see rubbish in their streets or in the countryside."
The council operates a number of recycling points at areas particularly affected by fly tipping.
They are located in New Barn Road, Denton Road, Temple Hill, Birchwood Road and Oakfield Lane.
Residents can report fly tipping to Dartford council by calling 01322 343434, or 0345 634 1212 out of hours.
