Further delays hit commuters on M25 anticlockwise this evening after an accident near the Swanley Interchange.

A car and motorcycle are reported to have collided at 5.20pm, blocking off two lanes between J3 and J2.

Emergency services, including police, an ambulance response car were called to the scene and the vehicles involved moved to the hard shoulder.

One person was taken to Darent Valley Hospital. They are not believed to have been seriously injured.

Elsewhere on the M25 delays affected drivers approaching the westbound bore of the Dartford Tunnel after a lorry and car crashed earlier.
