Crash on A20 London Road, Farningham, between Swanley Interchange and the A225 roundabout, leaves two seriously hurt

Two people have suffered serious injuries after a crash between a car and a van.
The incident, which involved a blue Ford B-Max car and a green Ford Transit van, happened on the A20 London Road, Farningham, yesterday(Wednesday).
The car was travelling downhill and the van was travelling uphill between the Swanley Interchange and the A225 roundabout when they collided at around 5.45pm.
Both drivers, in their 60s, were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries which have been described as serious.
Witnesses are now being urged to come forward.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has dashcam or CCTV footage.
