19:25, 30 August 2017
Police say a driver was lucky not to have been badly injured after being thrown from his vehicle during a crash.
An accident between a car and a van caused a partial closure of the M25 anti-clockwise, just after Junction 5 of the M26 heading towards the Dartford crossing.
Police and paramedics were sent to the scene.
Officers confirmed one of the drivers involved suffered minor injuries after being thrown from his vehicle. They said he was not wearing a seatbelt.
It happened at around 7.05pm and Highways England reported all lanes were reopened with advisory speed limits just after 8pm.
