Two road accidents within 15 minutes closed off a section of the A20 at Swanley this afternoon.
The exit slip road eastbound at the M20 junction was shut from about 3pm.
The first incident involved a crash in which a woman in her 70s was slightly injured.
The second was London-bound on the motorway in which a car, carrying several passengers, careered onto a grass verge.
Nobody is believed to have been seriously hurt.
Diversions were put into operation and the road was expected to be re-opened by this evening.
