Firefighters were called to tackle two separate field fires yesterday.
Crews attended the blazes last afternoon, from 2pm to 6pm.
Around 150 square metres of grassland caught alight just after 2:30pm, in Alder Way, Swanley, requiring two engines and a beater to put it out in just under an hour.
The second fire was just 10 minutes away in Eynsford Road, Crockenhill, and started in a cornfield.
13 firefighters were at the scene to put out the fire that started at 16:17pm, using beaters and a high pressure hose jet and was over just before 6pm.
No injuries were reported at either incident.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service have issued an appeal to help protect the countryside in this hot weather.
