A dad from Dartford has opened a baby clothing shop as a tribute to his one-year-old daughter.
Aaron Perry and his partner Cathie opened Nyah's Boutique, named after their little girl, last Friday at The Priory Shopping Centre.
The 39-year-old had opened another store in Medway in April, but decided to close it and fully relocate to Dartford.
In November, he plans to launch a branch in Gravesend.
Nyah's Boutique sells baby clothes, including traditional Spanish and Portuguese clothing. Aaron explained he wants to keep the tradition alive, as it's something his parents used to purchase.
The shop also sells blankets, hats, scarfs, cozy toes, and changing units.
Aaron says he wants to bring his clientèle quality options without breaking the bank.
He said: "In Kent, the cost of living is very expensive, and we want to make sure we can give good products at affordable prices to people.
"We pride ourselves on customer service. We deliver a good level of service and we'll go out of our way to look after people in every way we can.
"We have a wide variety of prices because we know some people haven't got that much money. All we want is for people's children to look nice without breaking the bank.
"We know the cost that having a child entails and with this shop I want my daughter Nyah to grow up knowing about the value of life and the value of money."
The family was very happy with the first weekend in business, and said almost 1,000 shoppers came through the doors.
Aaron added: "We're excited. For us the journey's just beginning.
"We have big plans for Nyah's Boutique with regards to store openings. Hopefully, moving forward, more stores will open around Kent as well.
"So we are excited about this journey."
