Second-half goals from Jacob Erskine and James Rogers got Dartford back to winning ways in Blue Square Bet South on Saturday against Salisbury.

Still licking their wounds from a midweek FA Trophy exit at Wealdstone and last Saturday's reverse to runaway leaders Woking, Darts drafted in centre-back Luke Wilkinson on loan from Dagenham to replace Paul Goodacre in defence.

Wilkinson nearly marked his debut with a goal but saw his header go straight to the keeper from John Wallis' free-kick but then had to receive treatment for a facial injury after a stray arm.

Lee Burns and Wallis both went close before the break but the game came alive a minute into the second half when Erskine (pictured) hooked the ball over keeper Mark Scott.

The result was put beyond doubt by Rogers on 52 minutes when Wallis provided the perfect pass and the Darts midfielder tucked the ball home.

It could have been more late on as the influential Wallis saw his free-kick come back off the woodwork.

Dartford will look to make it back to back wins against Basingstoke on Monday night at Princes Park.
