Dominic Green struck twice on his Dartford debut to help his new side into the quarter-finals of the FA Trophy.
The midfielder joined the Darts on loan from Dagenham and made an immediate impact in the 4-2 win over Bromley.
More than 1,300 fans watched the Kent derby at Princes Park and Green’s sixth-minute strike handed the lead to the Blue Square Bet Premier side as he capitalised on a weak Liam Harwood backpass.
But Bromley levelled the scores shortly after through Pierre Joseph-Dubois.
The hosts were back in front when Green slotted home from close range and they held the lead until the break, as Bromley went close to equalising again, this time as Buchanan fired an effort off the bar.
Blue Square Bet South Bromley were finally seen off in a 15-minute spell at the start of the second half as Lee Burns and Harry Crawford netted.
Joseph-Dubois pulled one back with 20 minutes left but it was Dartford who bagged the £7,000 winner’s prize as they moved a step closer to a Wembley final.
