The Dartford Crossing and the Channel Tunnel rail link are expected to be in a government hitlist of assets to be sold off.
Gordon Brown will announce plans to raise £16 billion by selling off a raft of assets.
Initial sales are expected to include the Channel Tunnel rail link, Tote bookmakers and the Dartford crossing.
The Prime Minister will say the measure is an alternative to immediate cuts proposed by the Tories.
