Dartford Golf Club's Dan Byrne and Michael Saunders with the London Amateur Championships shield

Dartford Golf Club are celebrating after Michael Saunders and Dan Byrne claimed victory at the London Amateur Championships.
The formidable foursomes pairing showed their class to prevail over three days of competition at Moor Park Golf Club in Hertfordshire.
Established in 1907, the tournament attracted 64 of the best clubs from across the South East.
Saunders, the Kent champion, and Byrne, beat the host club Moor Park, who had been favourites to lift the title, before defeating Wentworth and Sevenoaks club Knole Park.
In their final match, they stormed past Kingswood by a winning margin of 8&7.
