Former Southend United youngster Harry Crawford remains on the radar of Dartford manager Tony Burman.
The 20-year-old - who had a spell on loan with Dover at the start of the 2010/11 season - scored in the 2-1 win against an Arsenal XI last week.
He also featured in the final pre-season friendly at Tonbridge last Saturday.
Crawford is a former Republic of Ireland under-18 international and left Southend at the end of last season.
Burman said: "He wants to stay full-time, which is the barrier we have been up against all summer.
"I still want to add to the squad but I won’t sign players just for the sake of it."
