Dartford manager Tony Burman takes patient approach to player signings

Tony Burman is happy to be patient when it comes to completing his close season transfer business.
The Dartford boss has already swooped to sign midfielder Jon Wallis from Blue Square Bet South rivals Dover and left-back Adam Green from Hayes & Yeading, as he plots an assault on the promotion places next season.
Burman, pictured, said: "We have been talking to a couple more players but we are being patient. I am pleased with what we’ve done so far."
Burman also revealed his sympathy for Blue Square Bet South rivals Bishop’s Stortford after they were switched to the Blue Square Bet North, where they will face trips to the likes of Blyth Spartans and Droylsden on a regular basis.
Burman said: "It happened to us once, when we went into the Ryman League Division 1 North. It happens and you have to get on with it but I feel for them because they are going to have an awful lot of travelling to do."
